Permex Insect Dust

What is it??

PERMEX Insect Dust is a ready-to-use residual insecticidal dust, based on 25 grams per kg of synthetic pyrethroid permethrin. It has been specially formulated for ease of application.

Permethrin is a broad spectrum insecticide, effective against many insect pests.

PERMEX Insect Dust will control and prevent infestations of many insect pests found in domestic and industrial premises, such as ants, cockroaches, fleas, silverfish and beetles.

How is it used??

PERMEX Insect Dust can be applied using a powder sprinkler in such a manner as to leave a visible deposit in those areas across which insects are likely to crawl. Particular attention should be paid to any cracks and crevices. The dust should be left undisturbed for as long as possible, especially when fleas are a problem in carpet. This will allow the PERMEX Insect Dust to reach the tuft where flea eggs and young larvae are found.

PERMEX Insect Dust can also be safely used in and around electrical equipment which up till now has provided a protective haven for insect pests. Such equipment would include the motors of refrigerators and freezers, television sets, switchgear and computer hardware. A water based spray is not advisable in such locations so PERMEX Insect Dust is recommended for effective insect control.

If ant nests are a problem in the roof or in partition walls, PERMEX Insect Dust can be applied through a suitable access point, by blower or puffer, with little risk of staining either the ceiling or the wallpaper.

You must have an Approved Handlers License to use PERMEX with a blower unit.

Is it safe??
